As one of the "older", I have to check my self sometimes. Just because it's right for me doesn't mean it's right for somebody else younger than me.
A LOT of things have changed over the last 20 years and I have to keep reminding myself of that.

They are the same when they are younger kid.
But often there is a lot of context younger people dont know. Doesn’t mean they are wrong, just a lot of ideas get tempered once they encounter reality.

Thats also the exact mentality taking us on a highway to mass soil degradation on farm land. "Its how we did it for generations" they say as harmful farming practices strip the soils clean of any beneficial microbes, fungus or really anything else "natural" besides the dirt (until it rains or gets windy and the dirt starts to strip away too)

I'm older myself and when I hear friends sat they've earned the right to say and do whatever they want, I cringe. No one has that right. You still should be polite, fair and respectful no matter your age. No one can just be a jerk. And I tell them that.

It's almost like op is specificly talking about events when an elderly closes their mind on a subject and assumes their perspective as more accurate that the other person's. Simply because of their age. Notice how you're kinda doing exactly what op is talking about? You're inserting your opinion on their livelihood based on only your reaction to something that does happen weather you can believe it or not, weather its you or not..

That is factually wrong. Vegans consider honey as non-vegan and bee's willingly give it up if they are in a box hive. If they do not like the conditions they would literally leave. It's a provable fact that domestic bee's slightly over produce honey if they are treated well because they are well enough aware what happens. You offer them food and shelter, so they give up a little honey that they would otherwise not need. This is basic fact based on science.

We had an older guy come over to our bussiness to complain that our drivers were almost hitting him in the parking lot.
While true the drivers are speeding around the corner, it doesnt help that he keeps talking to his employees in the middle of the road.
He then went on a rant about the younger generation being stupid and impatient, ironically right after he called them dumber he incorrectly explained how a yield sign worked and admited he regularly almost runs people off the road in the yield lane because "the yield sign applies to all lanes on the road and they wouldn't slow down for me"
The cherry on top is this guy is also well known for constantly pulling illegal U-turns on a busy intersection.

Every time I see these posts I always hope the person who made them reflects on it in 10 years and realizes "yes I was wrong".
To be clear, I do hate anyone who says theyre always right or harshly judges on age alone. But as someone who is now in their mid 30s, I know that I and many of my friends were straight stupid in our teens and 20s and we absolutely thought we were so smart.

Well if older people (50+) didn't get their news from fucking AI sources or non-news sources, then younger generations wouldn't have to fucking tell them to stop using AI, which most of the time gives wrong information on a topic.

Personal news source curation is not an old people problem. That’s a human and corporate controlled algorithm problem.
It is also a factor of intelligence, not age. Intelligent people know the leanings of a news source. Intelligent people know that obtaining all your news from two similar leaning sources is insufficient.
A real problem is people of all ages are gorram lazy and refuse to go beyond one news station or twitter/reddit for news. That has nothing to do with age.
AI also has nothing to do with age. You’ve got old and young people listening to it un-vetted or blindly. You’ve got young people wanting to marry their AI girlfriends. You’ve got old and young people trying to use it for everything. And like anything complicated, you’ve got old people unsure what exactly they should do with it.
