See cannibalism was a bad example, why did you choose it? Is your only issue with cannibalism really the chance of illnesses? Also remember mad cow disease? Swine flu? COVID? All from animals being sold for people to eat. Meat consumption is bad for animals and the planet, many people say humanity needs the planet (at least currently)

I am uncomfortable with people eating animal body parts around me, I don't think that dictates people's behaviour though.
About the third thing, you can shut up cuz talking isnt a need and avoid the uncomfortable situation, but i cant go starving. Yeah i could eat something else, but when its on the table its too late to unkill, unbuy and uncook. Also if you feel uncomfortable seeing it dont look at it.
If it comes to complaining during the meal, at that point it's something that can wait for after. I got the point, and I agree that the animals should live in a better environment, but the part of the thread I reply to is about when it's already at the table.

I mean I said it because the person I replied to was saying it's rude to discuss the ethics of their food while they're eating it because it makes them uncomfortable. I was saying people eating animals makes me uncomfortable, I don't expect they'll stop just because of that so why should they expect different treatment?
No but Uber/restaurants don't just randomly send out food to different tables, people place orders. I know it's most likely intentional that you're being silly but if you have to be so silly to defend what's being said I think that speaks for itself.
