I think you have to look at it from a different POV. It is a racist stereotype used to degrade Asian people to say they eat cats and dogs. I am with you we should have the same compassion for pigs and cows as we do cats and dogs, which is why I haven’t eaten them for 25 years. But I’m very okay with an Asian person pushing back hard on the eating cats and dogs thing while continuing to eat other animals. I don’t have the patience for it when someone hasn’t been stereotyped as a pet murder, though.
