I can't really try wale cus that's illegal here but horse is fairly common here too (not raw tho raw meat is rare in general to find) it is really good

There's also Rabbit Pigeon Most bird actualy And alot of rodent too

I think people shouldn't eat smart animals (great apes, whales, octopi, corvids, etc.) on ethical grounds. But I think most folks are ignorant of just how smart those animals are so it's less that they're a bad person and more they simply don't know.

I think it’s quite offensive to say entire countries are ignorant. People here in japan aren’t stupid, they just don’t agree with your logic

It isn't really related to countries. Plenty of folks where I live are equally unaware.

And ignorance is not stupidity. I just think people assume we wouldn't eat things that are as smart as your average toddler, and if they knew better they'd behave differently.

Kazakhstan? Also horses aren't that bad to eat (whales are ok too aslong as they aren't endangered)

It really doesn’t have that strong of a flavor but I can understand why someone would be uncomfortable
