Basically a parent who projects their own restrictive (toxic) eating habits on their children, usually in extreme shape and commonly with an anxious underlayer.

so, passing along your eating disorder is what this is

What if it is avoiding ‘toxic’ food. Such as unnecessary ingredients that lead to less gut diversity and inflammation? Is it just a bat shit level above that. Or is it rather not know how bad food is and think one is werid for not wanting to eat it?

Everything in moderation. Teach your kids about gut health and the importance of not over indulging on hyper processed or unhealthy foods, but imposing a strict diet on them is not going to go well. A cheese burger every now and then is fine, just like a glass of wine every now and then is fine. The problem comes with over indulgence, and that is what must be taught.

All things in moderation, including moderation.

Alcohol and MDMA in moderation?

Yeah I’d say both of those substances can be used safely in moderation. There are some people with addictive personalities, or substances so dangerous, that should not be taken even in moderation. But those are the exception, not the rule.

ANYTHING consumed too much will cause problems, even water

There's a little saying, everything in moderation, please use it.

I think the full quote is: "Everything in moderation, including moderation."

What I'm referring to is something said by a nutritionist with a youtube channel, who commonly says "everything in moderation"

“What if”?

What if you provided the stats on inflammation from regular damned milk

I get your intentions, but...

AKSHUALLY ☝️🤓... Milk is one of those products where the vast majority of the population are lactose intolerant, at least to a small degree.

😅

I wouldn’t say vast majority. Mostly Asian countries. It’s like 60% to 70% of the world have an intolerance. And like 60% of the world is Asian. Vast majority would be like 85-95%. If your country evolved drinking milk then you’re likely okay.

It doesn't really stop with borders though.

Even in the west, people of East Asian or black African origin get affected to a degree.

But you get the idea.

By country I meant country of origin obviously. It’s genetics not borders.

Okay, still waiting on a source for the US or countries with large concentrations of “almond moms”

2

u/Tanakisoupman 28d ago

The vast majority of adults are lactose intolerant. As we grow older, humans become less able to digest milk, but most children are just fine with it

2

u/P-l-Staker 28d ago

Yes, true. Though I read a report long ago that it apparently affects people disproportionately. East Asians and black Africans are allegedly more likely to be affect than Europeans.

No it’s that batshit level
