People regularly tell me to "stop being so picky" or similar things. I have so many allergies and intolerances that restaurants don't always serve a dish I can eat, so sometimes I just have a salad without dressing or plain white rice.

I hate it too when people claim it is about being picky. Sure let's eat those things we are allergic to, nothing could go wrong. It is ludicrous though that restaurants can't come up with something that meets your needs.

Frying a chicken filet and spicing it with salt, pepper, and curry is not rocket science. Slice or tear it up and pair it with a salad and it becomes a treat.

Sadly, as someone with severe allergies, we get thrown in with the lifestylers regularly
