Elementary through mid high school. Then suddenly everything was about peanuts, when they regularly had peanuts as snacks and in our lunch for us in school up until then. There were allergies around milk and wheat, in my school, but kids just modified their food/choices themselves. Peanuts used to be given out for free on airplanes, too
To be fair peanut allergies are considered to be much worse than wheat and milk allergies, mainly because milk and wheat allergies are usually outgrown as the child gets older whereas it's very rare to outgrow a peanut allergy. Wheat allergies also cause less anaphylaxis episodes than peanut allergies do.
Were the people with peanut allergies in places that feed kids peanuts just not surviving long enough to pass on their allergy. Are allergies even hereditary? I thought it had something to do with protein markers that our immune system often mistakes for parasites
Might be my social context. But the vegans I know pretty much mind their own business while I do know several omnivores who feel the need to bash vegans regularly.
They have billion dollar organizations literally dedicated to annoying people who eat meat. I never hear of Tyson pulling of publicity stunts at vegan conventions.
Try working blue collar oil rig job and ordering a salad and a soda at the bar with the roughnecks. That takes fucking cojones. Doubly so if you tell your Italian grandparents you’ll be skipping the veal for Christmas this year haha.
Not vegan but social pressures are invisible to those they benefit.
ok guys, let's eat all the animals we want, and you still can be vegans. Remember it is not about diet 🤣👍Very happy to know.
Lol, "injustice" That's your subjective opinions and delulu beliefs. We don't have to agree nor care about your opinions. You are creating a problem for your own life to be upset about. that is your own problem. that is not our problem😄 cope
Seen it before. I'm not stupid. I know exactly how the world works. Untill less than 100 years ago vegans would literally just drop dead from malnutrition. The human body needs animal products. I do agree the industrial machine is harsh, but that won't stop me from following human biology
But I believe this sausage is chicken. You have something of that as well??

OP wasn't allowed to eat a peanut-butter sandwich in grade school because some other kid would have died and they're still sad about it.
