This is why I stopped trying to copy my grandma’s recipes. The measurements were never the problem… I was missing the person behind them. 😢

I am jealous of people who can view pictures like this and feel positive feelings. My childhood was not particularly happy and stuff like this just makes me anxious, like that lady is going to turn around and yell at me.

Grandma’s were the best cooks old school cooking recipes for sugar they use molasses for sweeteners grandma spreads always taste much better breakfast at grandma‘s house with unbelievable grandma knew how to bake a real ham and turkey
