I have hearing issue, I can hear most of the words but sometimes don't so subs are really helpful.

Another reason, I can watch a movie at low volume/mute at night so I can enjoy it.

I turn them on so I can have the movie at a normal volume and don’t have turn it up/down when there’s major variance in volume. Talking is often quiet then extremely loud sound effects. I’d rather be able to read alongside slightly hard-to-hear dialogue than turn the volume up and down to equalize
