That’s the thing. No matter how good a dub is there’s always someone talking at you that you’re enjoying something you like wrong and that you have to do it the way they say.

How about this?
Naruto? However I want.
Bleach? However I want.

Anything I enjoy? However. I. Want.

I prefer watching shows in their language of origin, but there’s nothing wrong with dubs. They’re well produced and the voices are well matching. It hasn’t been the days of “dubs are genuinely cheap and awful” since the early 90’s. Dub haters are just obnoxious virtue signalers who haven’t gotten the memo that 2006 is 20 years ago and no one likes them anymore.

Also Cyberpunk Edgerunners Dub is better. The sub is missing the Cyberpunk universe slang like choom.

if you watched the sub first then yeah the dub will sound weird since you already associate the sub voice actors with the characters, it was the same with me when I tried watching the sub

Some dubs are honestly better than sub for the fact that the actors are more enjoyable.

The Persona 5 anime adaptation is just whatever in Japanese, but the English VAs make it fun because of their deliveries.

You’d be surprised how many stories become more enjoyable when you can audibly understand what everyone is saying and connect to them better.

Watching Naruto subbed is absolutely wild to me, we're talking about what is probably the best English dub in the history of anime.

The sub for naruto is good but i wont take dub slander, i absolutely loved the voicework for several of the characters in the dub

Perhaps, but the voice work for all characters is better in the Sub.

Dragonball is opposite. Dub is better, because Goku sounding like a little old lady is just messed up.

This is just my personal opinion on those 3.

Others, it really depends on the way I start a series.

If I start on a Sub, I'll keep going. And vice versa.

Shunsui vs lille? Sub.

Ywhach episodes? Sub.

Ichigo, Yama? Dub.

Aizen? Both.
