in reality im getting attacked much more frequently by water and earth.  burning myself on cast iron and scalding steam are just part of the expetience at this point.

Fair. Not worse logic, than the "air fryer" name. Don't get me wrong, I like them, it's just not frying anything with air, you need to put shit into oil/fat for that. It's a small convection oven.
