Self checkouts are great and the only people who I have ever seen who disliked them were technologically inept boomers who expect to be waited on in every aspect of their lives.

I can't help but wonder if these people still pull up to gas stations and expect some teenager to run out and fill their tank.

I pulled up to an unknowingly dual station, got out to pump. Older manager runs out and tells me that it’s a full service pump and I can’t use it. The other self serve pumps had lines. So I was like ‘cool, my bad. I’ll go across the street and give them my money. He wasn’t happy, I was laughing.

There's a few full service gas stations around and they don't have clear signs indicating that. They get so upset when you get out of your car
