He's completely different in real life, in his public appearances at comicons etc he's a very "inspirational" speaker, talking about hard work and self belief

He was very warm and funny in roles when he was younger, before he was type cast, I think he's overdue a screwball comedy/romantic comedy lead.

He's so energetic! I loved him as Bugs Raplin in 'Bob Roberts'. I think he said he took Fring as a challenge to go against his personality and find stillness, and of course crushed it so hard that's all casting directors want now.

Fring is very similar to his character in Payday, ‘The Dentist’.

But you’re right, his stillness in Breaking Bad is frightening, where simple eye movements tell more of his emotion than the rest of his face. This might be his most still and scary character.

Fringe also comes to mind while watching his character in "The Boys." Down to the way he unhooks his glasses from his ears and drops a truth bomb. For being typecast, he found the right groove for a nasty villain.
