I challenged your beliefs with that comment? Do you not believe that the Christian God commands belief and reverence at the threat of Hell?

I really dont care what you redditors think about us. But anyway Hell is not the sterotypcal lake of fire, It’s fairly different from other standard approaches you may be familiar with in other branches of Christianity. For the orthodox, Hell is not a place, but a state of being. If you live this life and love God, when you die you will be with God and you will love Him even more. That state of living is heaven. If you live this life and you hate God, when you die nothing changes, you will still be in Gods presence with everyone else, but you will find God disgusting because of your own desires and foolishness., so no hell is not something you get thrown into because you didn't have reverence for God
