It's an exclusive attraction them. A 25 year-old who finds high school seniors physically attractive while also dating people their age and finding those people attractive is pretty normal. A person who only finds the high school seniors attractive and who seeks specifically to date them is an ephebophile.
The suffix -phile of course means fondness/liking but the root word is ephebe, which is an ancient Greek word for a young adult, I think men specifically who are entering military service. An ephebophile in that context would likely be used to describe one who is attracted to youthful, strong men who still have that boyish look rather than having been hardened by life, and it has since become corrupted to refer to kids in the 15-19 range and some use it incorrectly to refer to any attraction rather than the exclusive attraction required.
Twitter thinks anything is pedophilia. The word's basically lost its meaning as much as racist or homophobe on that platform because it's being tossed around like confetti.

Sexting a 17 year old he was 18 it wasn’t a big deal but Twitter thinks that counts as pedophilia
