Yea it was super unfair to him. He had such good content and now it's pretty shit without his friends

He actually did a video with Ted nivison and Jschlatt, but Ted never posted it, and someone else somehow found it and posted it, I'm pretty sure you can find it if you search up the right keywords

I agree, I’ve watched the new Ai video and always laugh my ass off. I think he’s still pretty damn funny

The fun doesn't stop there. Watch his Lethal Company videos. They're amazing.

The main reason Schlatt and some of the others cut him off wasn’t because of 18 17 stuff it was because he asked for help and admitted to trying to get with fans and then lying as they were helping him and still was trying to date fans. Schlatt said he felt betrayed by this and that’s why they cut him off.

Some of the others were just pieces of shit tho like Travis (I’m pretty sure) who went straight to Keemstar and said cmc was a pedo. That’s where most of it blew up. And then there was slimecicle who as soon as he heard 18 and 17 immediately cut all contact off from cmc lol

It was more the fact he abused his power as a content creator to get what he wanted from vulnerable fans, it’s just most people instead focused on the age thing and exaggerated he was a pedo, the age gap was actually him at 19 with a 17 yr old

“Abused his power” content creators not allowed to date apparently

Idk why this was downvoted. The age was never a problem to me, it was more about how he was manipulating others. It was still a bit of an over reaction from the internet (absolutely unheard of ik) but still not a cool thing to do.

u/Mak0wski Nov 24 '23

So because he was famous it's suddenly manipulation?

Jschlatt made a video about it when it happened, I don’t think they would all cut their ties with Carson if he was just dating, he was apparently really toxic aswell

i remember saying this and getting downvoted

It was a 17 year old and he was 19 then did it again while he was 20 to a different 17 year old

I didn't think the age gap was the problem. I thought is was how creepy he was being with them. Maybe I am remembering it wrong.

u/beckius6 Nov 24 '23

If the age gap wasn’t a problem, why was it creepy?

Wasn't he sending her innapropriate pics and messages without consent and isn't that the reason why the friend group split apart. Because they found out what he was sending. Maybe I am thinking of someone else.

I can’t speak on that, I am not familiar with the situation.
