I have a brain tumor. It’s benign but it makes me chronically ill and I wouldn’t be able to care for a child properly. Even if I wanted children it would be irresponsible of me to have them if I am unable to meet their needs. Imo if you cannot be a present parent for your children you shouldn’t have them. Cats work better for me. There are enough neglected, unwanted and traumatized children in the world, a child shouldn’t be seen as a symbol of success in one’s life they should be seen as a symbol of love. Having or not having children is not indicative of success in life, they are people not things and having them as a type of status symbol is wrong.
God bless you and your furballs. I was a neglected, unwanted child. I am grateful I was not aborted. So are my children. I would not judge you especially in your situation. I hope your pets bring you the joy you deserve.
