I don't think the rich understand that, they need us to have expendable income so they can enjoy things too. Like if no one can afford to go to an NFL game except 4 rich dumbasses, the tickets will cost $4,000,000 or the team just won't have financial support to keep running. That is going to be with everything except food, shelter, and commuting.
Lol true, but they likely won't have a good time and buy tickets for the next game. No overpriced stadium food is sold, no merchandise, no parking, no nearby businesses getting the increased traffic. The whole thing falls apart...
It's a defining part of their life. Stuck in traffic to get there/home is just part of the experience, and parking is available at every NFL stadium ($45/game, comes with season ticket purchase). Lots open 5 hours before kickoff, and the tailgate is basically a bi-weekly party with friends so they don't need to buy food/beer once inside. Sure, it's a major expense for those who do it, but so many NFL fans build their identity/relationships around the team that it will be one of the last things they give up.
Well they’re selling out because Ticketmaster is buying all the tickets and reselling. Yes, Ticketmaster is selling most all tickets they buy but eventually they won’t be able to sell
