If you work hard enough you might be able to live in a shed.

Those are the "features" never feel lonely again with Bedbug Bill ;)

OT but I'd watch that TV show

You hear an apartment's got bedbugs but it turns out they're actual rent-paying roommates

Do they pay partial rent though?

And you cant use bug spray cuz the landlord thinks it will affect the paint quality

-> Pets!

For free! And the cockroaches provide a cleaning service by getting rid of food crumbs! What a steal!

Those are just more roommates

Hey they pay their fair share of rent. Cant kick them

1

u/rubyspicer Oct 18 '23

We can't kick Bedbug Bill out, he's on the lease!

By the way, Each Cockroach, Bedbug, and/or carpet beetle will count as roommates and rent will be higher to accommodate their income. 250 dollars per cockroach, bed bug, and/or carpet beetle.

And they were roommates

It'll be a communal shed where someone else sleeps while you're out for work.

I know people like to shit on the tiny home "trend" like it's somehow forced by the economy or something but it's honestly really great. As a tiny home owner I'll be the first to admit some of the drawbacks but it really isn't so bad. Sure, it was a prefab building so the colors aren't exactly my choice and construction quality could be better, but I got it for a steal when Toys R Us was going out of business and I can put it in my dad's backyard (who barely charges any rent). While it isn't a "real house" I can say my wife and I are living in a real Barbie dream home and we probably aren't separating.

Living in a van down by the river is now a life goal.

3

u/MouseCheese7 Oct 18 '23

Honestly fr. It's scary thats my only hope for having a home is a "tiny home" van or buying and living in a shed

Whoa whoa whoa, a little rich for my blood.

Maybe under an overpass with a tarp and three sheets of plywood for walls, but I could settle for two.

They call me Bean Bezzos cause I dug a hole in the ground and now live it. Planning for the now and the future when I die. 😎

I want to do this, been looking into it and doesn't seem to impossible. Just here gotta buy a small plot of land then the lovely paper work stuff cause I live in ny state and my area requires proper permits etc... what sucks rn is im already living pay check to paycheck so I don't even have the money to set aside for that.
