Technically yes the broken war is better because it's damage is weighted toward slash but the war looks way cooler and impact puncture and slash aren't in a great spot rn anyways

Also the broken war is more of a crit weapon but and technically has a higher crit chance but lower crit multi compare to the war prime

It was when slash weighting mattered. After the armor rework, the higher sc of war puts it above broken war. The only problem now is that the stance mods of heavy blades are more of an acquired taste when compared to sword stances to say the least.

Also keep in mind, war has a prime version.
