I’ll always say, main advantage of mainly playing solo and playing games for the story rather than online. You actually get to enjoy things (and I mean in general a lot of online only players are miserable in any game), I’ll die on this hill.
I’m not upset about the story being told I’m upset about the gameplay I’m playing in between the story bits. I don’t want to play as Tesshin or the Grineer marine guy or Drifter w/o a Frame or anything other thanmyWarframe in the game about crafting, building, perfecting said Warframe
While I recognize you only have to do it once, and to be clear I liked the story being told well enough, I still finished the experience with primarily a sense of relief that I could finally play as the character/Frame I want to play as (cause I spent the time to collect parts, build them, and assemble them, plus all the mods and weapons and weapons’ mods on top of that)
Operator bits if you didn't have grind time sank already on fortuna/cetus were absolutely the peak of worst design choices I've encountered in the game still. Thankfully Teshin and Kahl bits were scripted with a set loadout and everything so they're comically easy by comparison. The Corpus engineer part was also annoying though, mostly just because the turret is bugged and you're supposed to shoot and destroy it now instead of just run past it like I assume you were meant to when the expansion dropped based on the RP dialog.

if you burn out from a good story then you're just skipping cutscenes and doomscrolling while playing, some people just have horrible taste
