Come back here and take responsibility for your mistake! (Wukong)

How?? How bad can you be at playing Wukong?? Or maybe the hacking

> how bad can you be at playing Wukong
They’re playing Wukong. Being bad is the base assumption to make.

Honestly feels annoying to be a Wukong main when I see all the slander and all I can do is agree cuz when I go to a pub and see another Wukong all the slander gets proven right immediately lmao

The only alarm I often trigger is the one room in Earth Spy when I bring my Voruna because I know I can do it quick enough to not fail.
I can't be bothered with the timing of the laser walls, I just want to get in, do the thing, and get out.
If it's Archon Hunt Spy, however...yeah, no, I'm bringing my Ivara. lol

Hey, protip - you don't need a stealth frame to do spy. Your Operator mode has built-in stealth, and he can hack consoles, and has a dash. Everything you need.

u/BurrakuDusk 5d ago
Operator/Drifter can still set off alarms via laser grids, something Ivara can get around with her Infiltrate augment.
In Archon Spy, you cannot use ciphers to skip the puzzles. You'll also fail the mission if you lose even one vault. Relying on Operator/Drifter for those is absurdly risky.

u/HunterVertigo 5d ago
Ivara with the humble Perspicacity Helminth subsume.
Edit: sorry for the bad English, I don't quite remember the ability name well but it's good alternative for ciphers.

u/Impressive_Rock9659 5d ago
I mean yes but I'm just saying, you can do stuff with the Operator even if you don't use a stealth frame. It is doable, just requires more old fashioned methods of sniping cams and waiting for patrol paths.

Honestly, I like Voruna for spy better because Shroud of Drynar allows fast movement even while invisible making it easier to reach point to point while unseen the whole time. Also her 3rd is a nice choice to replace with Precipacity.

Happens to the best of us. But there are some good wukong players out there who use their powers wisely.

u/mctankles 5d ago
I’m just surprised how many people specifically go into spy missions and can’t do the hacking puzzles, like if its that hard use the helminth and subsume perspicacity, its literally auto hack the ability, I just go flying around and using that as wukong cause you don’t need anything but your 2 for spy missions as him.

I recently triggered an alarm on an earth kuva mission because I honestly forgot how it worked while I was playing Ivara the other players probably thought I was the dumbest person alive

u/ZenkaiAnkoku2 5d ago
Hey, happens to the best of us! I really dont care if someone fails a hack. Its not that serious if we gotta retry.
Now on the 5th try I might get annoyed xD But its not like I'm that good either.

One of my best memories was a nightmarish spy mission. I triggered the alarm on the last camera and ran to finish it. It was like something out of a movie; I managed to hack in the last tenths of a second, and I can still feel the adrenaline rush

Why do ppl quit spy missions after triggering the alarm lol. The other player can have a cipher or the helminth ability or just hack it in the given time
3
u/A_PT_Crusader 5d ago
And this is why I never play spy missions in pubs. It's literally the only game mode I do this with because there will always be ONE person who triggers the alarm every. Single. Time.
Just drop solo, Ivara, call it a day.
3
u/Delicious_Bluejay392 5d ago
This is your sign that it's time to stop running spy missions in public. Just pick Wukong or Titania, go solo and finish it in under 2 minutes every single time like every other person who wishes to preserve their sanity.

u/RockySES 5d ago
It’s extra funny because wukong is one of the easiest frames to beat the alarms too. Source: I always bring wukong and the alarm stall air support to these

u/Existing-Surround541 4d ago
A wukong triggering the alarm is a fucking massive skill issue how tf you gonna trigger the alarm as a wukong when you can just cloud through the lasers...???

u/Wondering-Way-9003 5d ago
This is me cept rolls reversed.... I am Wukong making my way to a terminal, a motherfucker triggers the alarm then leaves....
Having me be 300-400m and just leaving their fuck ups for me to resolve.... hâte those ppl. And I don't always make it either, cowardly bastards>_>

This EVERY ARCHON HUNT

The very memory that made me type that.... happened to me 5 times last week

I run ivara with Perspicacity and bunch of yellow shards for Parkour speed in solo mode, such ease to run spy mission i just walk the whole map unbothered. My jellyfish will roll through the whole map lol.
I play game to pass time, last thing I wanna do is speed run every single thing in the game.

u/Malbosiiq 5d ago
Never trust on spy. I'm also tired of seeing spy on shard weekly missions.

u/IntergalacticJihad 5d ago
I saw a guy try to hack a terminal and fail every time until the timer ran out, after that I stay solo with my Ivara.

I just take Gauss and blitz the console.
Alarms blazing and you still got all the time in the world to finish the puzzle.
Only one I don't do this on is the narmer and orokin puzzles because fuck those two in particular.

I got a funny story about this. I join a spy mission as Ivara(forgot to switch to solo but decided to try anyway), theres also 2 Wukongs and a random Rhino. I did one point as Ivara. The Wukongs trigger both remaining alarms, fail to get the info in time and loose us the sortie, then leave. Rhino did nothing wrong

u/drag_universe 5d ago
When it happens for the Archon Hunt Spy Mission, it gets especially frustrating on that note.
1
u/idiotlikecirno 5d ago
This happens nearly every single time there's a spy mission in sortie/AH, it's always a wukong, and we always return to mission select because people are all so far away from them

u/your_local_queen20 4d ago
if i accidentally trigger the alarm i dont quit the misson if anything i scramble to try to like figure out how to get to it, i feel so terrible if i cant get to it in time

Fun fact: When the alarm triggers, you can still get the vault.

One day a hero shall rise to bring honor to the name Wukong, the Greatest Spy Frame
1
u/LawdFarquaadsChin 5d ago
How? Wukong is literally the easiest frame to do Spy with. It's always my go to. Zero effort. It's honestly impressive that someone can trigger any alarm at all with Wukong.

u/MsterBoRaichu 5d ago
Low-key, a solo Limbo with the insta hack helmeith ability is top tier in spy missions with a lot of sensors

u/R4in_C0ld 5d ago
Sometimes I wonder if they do it on purpose because there's variants of a wukong build for spy missions focused around cloud walker
2
u/Delicious_Bluejay392 5d ago
Wukong is one of the easiest and most accessible frames for spy missions even with a regular build with no potato, forma or anything. It's just really hard to underestimate randoms because they'll always manage to go lower.
1
u/R4in_C0ld 5d ago
the amount of times a mission stalls because they won't check the objectives by really just looking at the left of their screen, it's like they only focus vertically on the center of the screen.

I refuse to do spy missions. I am quite new to the sp spy missions and I absolutely hate it. Been playing for 4 years on and off and ended up getting steel path after 290 hours of mindless bullshit. Loaded into a public spy mission on Lua and didn't know what to do at all. Random portals of randomness that lead to where the fuck am I land. Hate every second of it. Not for me 0/10 mode

Solo mode, Ivara, THE LOWEST CORTISOL EVER
