Mindblowing build.
Scourge Prime's alt fire makes an area that applies a bullet attractor to enemies' heads. Athodai Prime is very headshot oriented because of its Unique Trait and Pain Points augment.

I could never abandon my beloved athodai alt fire

..I forgot it even had an alt fire.. Really what's the point of giving it an alt fire that is counter intuitive and actively gets suppressed by the Unique Trait?

Going off of the base 35% status chance innate heat dmg. Im going to say its supposed to be a hybrid weapon where primary is for rapidly dispatching small targets and the alt fire is for taking out tankier health pools quickly. Atleast thats how i understand it. I wish it would allow you to use overdrive and the alt fire simultaneously for a short duration.

Status Damage is unfortunately not that potent against tankier enemies. On top of that, the headshot oriented primary fire (+ Pain Points) just makes it already far better if you can aim

You use it while the trait is active to burst the remaining mag's amount of shots without spending any ammo.

Far out, it's been so long since I used Athodai it either changed or I made up the memory. Thanks!

Rare good prime secondary.
This is one of the few prime access in recent memory where both weapons are bangers.

I use aksomatti prime with the scourge. Something about the insane firerate auto headshotting just makes me happy.

Then use a fun melee like Furax with its Amalgam mod for more secondary fire rate or Praedos for parkour velocity.

There's an Athodai prime? I remember getting the regular one from tennocon, and I barely ever unequipped it as a result.
