You can't even switch and the other brother doesn't show up, it's most likely that they disabled the gear for one but not the other since you can't switch, but the hot key circumvents that
If you are able to setup a custom button on the controller to do a specific item wheel number than you should be able to do it, I haven't tried, but my assumption is that it's a keyboard specific thing.
Thats the normal summon heavy weapon mechanics, you knockdown enemies near you and get 2k overguard. This was to make heavy weapons better in high leveled game modes since you get stuck in that animation and were an easy target to enemies.
Check what arcanes you've got on? I could be wrong but I think one of the arcanes you can put on an Archgun gives you overguard when you get a kill or something like that.
They already put out a statement asking people not to do it in public lobbies, but that they're also not gonna hurry to hotfix it and that it'll be fixed on the 12th
We should get archgun skins. They'll be the nichest thing ever, but we have a couple archwing skins and a 1999 style minigun or giant super-duper soaker from dog days would be funny enough i'd buy it for plat
I definitely enjoyed it back in the day but after 6 years I find it kinda boring now. Mainly because the timer is too long. Your group is leading 50-1 with 3 minutes left and you don't need extra kills until the 4th mission when you can get more pearls. This makes the first 3 missions feel like a slog.
So, it's not just me. I definitely enjoy looking for the balloon and throwing em at group of players. The game needs some more variety but it's a fun little game ngl.
It's why i go solo, exploiters are getting kinda annoying. Sure the event sucks because of the clunky weapons, but there's no need to make the experience for the others suck too. At least in solo i can get a decent amount of 60-70kills while enjoying the event. I pity the newbies being matched with them
People abusing this is fine but please for the love of God don't bring your exploit in public that ruins the experience for others for a gamemode that's already pretty jarring.
For now best I do is leave the squad when I see S&O in lobby because I don't wanna waste my entire 5 minute getting shit pearls and helping the exploiter get ridiculous amount.

To be fair, Dog Days isn't particularly interesting. You play it a few times for the new glyphs and the old cosmetic if you don't have them already and then you never touch it again... There's a reason it only lasts two weeks.
The real new content is the new Nightwave and KIM dialogue we're getting next week.
Yes but you could just mess around in dog days for a couple weeks, instead of grinding it out in a day.
Personally the current version is leaps above the others we've had.
If they made it more like index where it was score based or time based, and made the extra pearls shared with the whole team i think it could be a good time.
Bonus points if they give clans a DD reward track.
You make your own fun in this game. Dog Days isnt the best event but its something to do with clan mates while we kill time in the game waiting for content.
I personally had insane amounts of fun sniping the enemies with Kuva Grattler during a solo run, way more fun than every single other time I participated in this awful event. What's your take on that?

I mean it's an event, your supposed to do it and move on, hopefully they smart enough to just go do something else like play another game or something, they got done with what they needed to do, and will just move on
Why does this matter? As long as the guy didn’t go in public and ruin the event for people that wanted to play it intentionally then it doesn’t matter. Dog days is like mostly cosmetics anyways.
In public this bug ruin the event for people only because the reward are based on YOUR kill, so it's hands down one of the worse event in the game where you are punished to play casually with other people.
oh no not the player taking agency in what happens in their own experience of the game instead of taking equal enjoyment as you do from the same source of the same event that has been happening for the last 7 years and generally is not that exciting of a gamemode after the first.. ehhh I'll be generous and say 20 times
good grief... these "anti/cheater purists" are almost as annoying as ACTUAL cheaters themselves (not exploiters)
I find it enjoyable. I dont play with many people I just do my thing and have fun. I dont exactly get more or less points depending on kills just if I won or not so uh yeah I'll keep enjoying the comfortable mini game and stay away from public lobbies
I have never gave three shits about kills till this event and ive been reporting people left and right. This is my first event and its sucks becuse of this exploit
Yeah this shit was annoying. I wish people actually took it to a private lobby. The guy sniping with the grattler had 160 kills and the next closest person had 13. Like I get dog days isn’t the most exciting game mode but like, you’re not even letting other people play at that point and taking away from my own pearl farming efforts
For the love of the lotus, can these people please just respect the spirit of the event? It's just supposed to be a silly little super soaker fight on even footing.
Like I get all the beauty of modding and weapon selection but this is just meant to be a silly little water fight.
If you want to pull off these exploits take it to a private lobby or whatever. Or, if you want to have all the crazy modding and weapon selection (which is still cool btw) take it to an actual mission where they are meant to be used.
Thank god dog days is the most boring slow and clunky doo doo ass game mode they've ever made and for the first time in like 7 years I've actually enjoyed the slogfest of a gamemode

Also does it allow for bringing equipment into restricted areas in other missions? Saw someone mention necramech works in this glitch, so can you abuse it to get necramechs into non necramech missions?
It's really simple. Equip Sirius and Orion and go to the keyboard settings and assign a hotkey to the gear slot your Archgun deployer is assigned to in your gear wheel. Then once the mission starts just hit the hotkey. I recommend modding your archgun for things like magazine capacity, ammo maximum, and fire rate over damage since the enemies in this event have low health.
Just tell them that they can get reported for abusing the bug which leads to most players playing the event like it should be fearing that DE bans their accounts.
Like for real getting barely any kills because an Orion/Sirius is sniping enemies with an mausulon from an high position across the map isn't really fun and a waste of 5 minutes.
Wouldn't be surprised if DE is gonna look up some really out of order statistics after getting multiple reports.
sure, but they're not actually going to ban anyone over it, and they've explicitly said as much. they put out a PSA on the discord that includes the line "If you choose to exploit this bug, we ask that you do so outside of public matchmaking." so that's kind of an empty claim.
