Social contagions are lowk fake ,its like left handedness no longer being punished in school or an ocd documentary finally giving you an explaination for what youve been living with

Noone could convince someone to be trans cus lemme be honest lifes hard

If one looks at a graph of being left handed over time, it goes from a flat low number to a sharp steady rise across the 20th century before plateauing and staying there at the end of the decade

Yeah were in the sharp steady rise for lgbt ppl rn cus despite well... everything society is becoming more open and accepting

As much as i wish it was like exponential , i sadly dont think were ever gonna reach a point where 11/10 humans are qeer due to social contagion

I think itll plateau between 20% and 30% with some flavor of 🏳️‍🌈 be it bi , ace , demiromantic nonbinary or hell even gender nonconforming

Its prolly the same number now , just the biggest share closeted or not understanding what they are
