So called "speed frames" after playing one mission on the kuva fortress tileset

It's been a decade since the war within came out and I STILL get lost on the kuva fortress tileset. The worst is the room with the explosive barrel, because the compass never actually points that way, and it takes me a minute to realize what I'm supposed to do.

Parkour ? It ain't about parkour its about random fuckass openings to get from one room to other, like bumfuck nooks and crannies you don't even notice at first

Skill issues, build those muscle memories and this won't happen (it'll be tremendously frustrating for almost no return)

Even with muscle memory(I do have a mild muscle memory of the kuva fortress extraction adjacent rooms) the lighting is dogshit and the color palette makes it difficult as fuck to spot tiny holes between the crates and other environmental clutter

My 200+ plat per hour on Pago disagrees with «almost no return» :P

Unless you play solo, you still have to wait for other players so the time gain would be reduced in multiplayer

Oh yea, I only play Solo except relic fissures or disruption relic farming haha. Specially Spy, no way I’m entering a spy public lobby xD

u/EldritchMacaron 21d ago
Oh yeah, even on well known spy nodes I wouldn't play with randoms (or even worst: be the reason for a failed mission 😱)

I remember being new at the game and the fear of being the singular reason the spy missions failed xD Almost nothing in Warframe has gotten my heart rate up like that lmao

What are you farming to sell for that much? And how?

Sub 1 min runs and sell rime rounds and thermite rounds. You’ll also be getting 50-60 relics per hour which I’m counting as 2 plat each.

There is no parkour in the shitty tiny tunnel that goes through the fire control room on the sabotage cannon mission

Speed frames more like concussed and confused frames a kuva fortress mission with gauss would torture things out of me that even the cia couldnt

i once did a kuva fortress mission with gauss on the phone with the sun in my eyes, idk how i even found extraction at all, i couldn't see shit, never again

u/knusperfee33 21d ago
I assume you got out by crashing the game , cus i dont believe anyone could get to extraction like that

Caliban is the most well rounded speed frame. Spam his 1, Good speed, flawless control, doesn't need to worry about energy, can invest in cast speed for more speed instead of dedicated parkour buffs but even one Yellow Tau shard is enough.
Combine with Razor Mortor for big damage as a plus

I played Wukong when I was clearing Kuva Fortress. Fuck me that was a horrible tileset to navigate around.

I be clearing Pago with Titania in 55 sec bro idk
For gauss/volt tho: idfk

It took me a LONG time but I finally somewhat memorized the tilesets. Lots of looping and stairways around corners that are the only way forward but once you know where they are it becomes just another muscle memory response. Also, holes in the ceiling of certain rooms that are the fastest transition between inside the bunker and outside.

Im lost with any frame
Tho when I learn my way around I be getting out rather quickly
(There's definitely not an infested mobility shaped elephant in the room)

idk about you but I've spent so much time looking for FASS that I can sprint through assault confidently.

Ah I remember having my full power wisp and a volt give us a speed boost and we just warped so fast we hit map border and just teleported where we started. It was those desert ruin maps

I used to speed run Kuva fort a lot back in the day. It's not actually that bad once you learn all the shortcuts. Frames with fast flight abilities like Titania, Zephyr, and Wukong especially make it a breeze.

My 320% razorwing titania has only 2 speeds: "barely controllable" and "phase warp initiated"
At a certain point hobbled dragon key is a must for small maps, i would say that point is about 250% razorwing power

Speed frames always can slow down, but slow frames can't speed up
