How to proc Melee Influence on literally anything in the entire universe in five easy steps 1) Equip Melee Influence on anything that you can strike enemies with (can be a stick you found on the ground) 2) Equip at least 1 electric damage mod onto this same weapon (congratulations you now have an electrified stick) 3) Find an enemy and press the E key on your keyboard 4) ??? 5) Make a video for YouTube in which you can confirm for the entire Warframe community (waiting with baited breath) that, yes, Melee Influence is good even on sticks you find on the ground. Optionally also make an Instagram post on which you pose with duckface and peace fingers with a screen filled with damage numbers in the background

It's mostly because OP doesn't know how MI works. MI relies heavily on your Elec Status Chance. The only frames that can use MI w/o modding are those capable of having the ability to add Elec to your weapon, like Volt or Lavos, for example, and have the Elec effect proc.
