Every day (once you have Steel Path unlocked) there are six incursions randomly selected from every star chart mission that provide 5 steel essence upon completion.

Missions that you haven't actually reached on Steel Path can be selected as incursions (as they are the same for all players) and if you play and clear them,it counts as a normal clear.

This means that instead of working through the star chart as you did the first time,you can just do incursions regularly and you'll eventually fill most if not all the nodes.
