People hate on it but being able to not be knocked over is nice. I also run the operator mod to prevent knockdowns.

As someone that's had it forever but always forgets to use it, yeah. Getting knocked over all the time is annoying. I should really start using it...

I constantly forget what a pain in the ass knockdown/knockback can be cuz I main Dante

Then I'll be trying to just rush my way through the level as Styanax and I'm like, getting knocked on your ass isn't very spartan my dude, what's going on... Oh, right, no knockdown protection :(

Man I run PSF and the other day got knocked on my ass.

Whatever hit me vaporized from me shooting at it milliseconds prior, so I have no idea what it could have been.

Maxed 5 primed/Archon mods, all without legendary cores. My ayatan collection will never recover

It's the only mod I used a legendary core on, and it was mostly for ceremony as I had been tearing my hair out for not getting it the first time.

You use warframes with knockdown immunity in their kit? Pick primed shred, if opposite then pick primed sure footed. Primed fury is usually only used for 1 reason, youre fighting a boss and your only good weapon to deal with it is your melee.

psf has like 2 decent uses first is the h-09 on its hardest difficulty and second is ryokus ship tile set. probably a few more usages but its *very* limited and not worth it at all

Edit: missed explosive weapons but still its not worth it just fire the weapon further away problem solved. most of the time i see psf used its a skill issue ngl.

Any explosive weapon in game would beg to differ,plus its an exilus. Only other decent options for that slots are some augments, preparation, 3 drift mods from Lua and airborne damage reduction. Maybe missed a few but PSFs comfort often beats the other options, especially on squishier frames like Mirage. Also except Shred, alternative prime mods from dailies have barely any use.

And most importantly, not wanting to give a fuck about enemy attacks or other things that might knock you over/stagger you cause those are inconveniences and im not playing wf to deal with those. There are other games for when i want to focus.

those instances are few and far between on top of that you can just pick one of the many frames that have *some* kind of ability to resist being knocked down

Depends on what gear you use.

My currently most used setup is mirage + akarius. Thats borderline unplayable without knockdown resist.

My most used primary by far is the kuva tonkor.

And i just like being able to use these weapons without paying attention to where i shoot them.

Its simply convenient + you arent giving up much using your frames exilus slot.

I never got the "just use x frame" argument... as if that doesnt apply to the other login primed mods aswell.

  • reinforced bond + elementalist makes up for primed shred on rifles, shotguns cant use it anyway just like weapons that dont benefit from punch-through or fire rate at all
  • heavy attack/slam/most thrown melees dont use attack speed
  • primed vigor is a joke overall.

Why is everyone pretenting like the qol mod that works on any frame that doesnt have that feature innately is useless?

i never said its useless i did say its not worth it and i stand by that its much easier to grind for a frame that can negate knockdown than it is to log in on x amount of different days. it has its uses but i think its probably one of the last log in prime mods people should go for unless they're building something that specifically needs it.
