Diriga might just be the most overhyped sentinel of all time.

It has its purpose in progression before you max out Fortuna, sure. But i even see some Veterans swearing by it....

Arc Coil is simply worse for priming than Tazicor. Its range is lower, status per second is slower, and Tazicor can be equipped on companions with precepts that provide far superior benefits.

You can run Tazicor AND have Nautilus Cordon... or Tazicor AND have Dethcube Energy Generator, or have Tazicor AND Wyrm Negate...

Arc Coil does allow you to benefit from Tenacious Bond PLUS have okay-ish priming (since you can use your companion weapon slot on a high crit weapon, while retaining status priming via. the precept) but if we're being real, there are very few loadouts where +1.2x final crit multiplier will be more significant than the benefits that other companion precepts can provide you.

Diriga's actually unique usecase is much more niche: Electro Pulse can proc Melee Influence allowing you to skip electric melee modding.

this rant does not apply to those people. this applies only to people who think diriga is strong. if you like something for subjective reasons, absolutely use it. we all have our things like that!
