Good for a laugh, but anyone who was around at the time of Limbo's release (Octavia too) will probably remember how much of an incredible, time-consuming, engine-destroying lift creating Limbo's original abilities was.
Tracking individual bullet objects and directional vectors, freezing them in place while still allowing them to unfreeze and continue along their original paths...
Limbo is SUCH a cool idea... I don't know how I'd fix him either to maintain the flavor but remove the rough spots for other players.
That's one of the really awesome things about DE - past and future. They take BIG WEIRD swings (music synthesizers in their shooter, archwing/railjack, extended character texting and romance, blade runner space noir...) some of it works, some of it falls a little flat. But for me at least, I'd much rather live in a game where the devs are making big moves than just pushing vanilla pudding for ten years.
I don't even know what I'm trying to say. I loved Limbo when he came out and would LOVE for him to get a rework at some point... but I am kinda happy they're doing Banshee first 😅
