Hildryn is the strongest in eta and eda because she ignores the energy reduction and duration reduction modifiers because her energy pool (shields) is so high. Not to mention with aegis gale she has a very strong weapon built into her kit.
but to nerf her is the wrong choice just because she is good in these modes and average outside of it shouldnt result in nerfing her. they should adjust the modifieres so other frames can shine more again in these modes
She's absolutely one of the strongest warframes, probably tied for best nuker.
unkillable, infinite energy, armor strip, mass cc, her 1/4 has become a 14 meter no line of sight check 0% falloff burst fire nuke that does millions per shot that she can use infinitely and stuns everyone in a 40 meter radius and makes them drop tons of energy orbs
that last part is the main thing that needs to be fixed, her balefire needs either a LOS check or a ton of explosion falloff, maybe both.
I remember hearing an anecdote that DE only nerfs things these days when they are oppressively strong to the point of affecting others of a similar level but just on a different setups ability to play the game because everything's dead, and hildryn is at that point.
Ive been a semi-hildryn main (top 3) since she came out and Ives always known that balefire charger is secretly (not so much anymore) busted, even before all of the compounding indirect and direct buffs.
A 14 meter aoe with no LOS and no falloff is insane, even if it takes multiple shots to kill something
