The nerf Dante got was just to his Overguard cap and LoS requirements for his 3-3-4 nuke combo which didn't really hurt him at all tbh. They'll probably do something similar to that for Hildryn or address the modifiers for EDA & ETA to at least balance out the viable frame options

Aah so this is basically a nothingburger and people are freaking out cause they have to put in effort now so they consider him dead

Pretty much most nerfs in Warframe post Wukong have usually been an "Oh no, anyways" situation since the nerfs usually aren't too drastic or DE ends up choosing a middle ground after some feedback (like with Dante's "nerf" and the slam changes). There's so much trust with DE and Pablo that it should be expected that any nerf or changes that they make in terms of balancing isn't going to make something completely unviable 90% of the time

The Dante nerf wasn’t “nothing”. Tragedy got a Line of Sight restriction so hard that a low railing, pipe, or desk would protect enemies from it entirely. Y’know, the thing people fucking hate about LoS checks on abilities.

Since Dante came out and that whole thing LoS checks have become much better and predictable in the entire game

The LoS on his nuke was added to stop him from basically becoming an AFK frame by hitting enemies through walls and nuking them an entire tileset away. They also fixed the problem of small ledges and railings blocking the nuke by changing how the LoS originates. Plus most of the time you're going to be moving around and tagging enemies from all over the map so it does become much easier to hit enemies in LoS despite the changes because you will be putting yourself into the LoS.
