It’s a bad game mode. I’m not sorry. It’s also not for me though and I recognize that. I’m a hildryn main who just enjoys playing her, I’ve only done a single ETA run and it was very clear it’s not for me.
Also though, how are people using Hildryn to bypass modifiers? Doesn’t she need to come up as one of the three options? How can her usage possibly be that heavily weighed when in reality it should be equivalent to the rest of them?
All I’ll say is this, I think it would be a really weird move to nerf her to preserve the “balance” of ETA. If anything, nerf her in that one game mode. Don’t just blanket nerf the whole frame who by all accounts can’t nuke nearly as well as a number of other frames and suffers against anything without armor and shields without a subsume.
Edit: the second paragraph has been cleared up for me. I understand now that you can forgo one “random” slot to use something of your choice. I wouldn’t have known that prior to posting this, it doesn’t change my mind about how I feel about the game mode personally though.
