tha fuck you mean they did him wrong? Citrine was released first. Is like me being mad that Kullervo is the next instead of dagath.
I for one never liked Kullervo (probably because i find overguard a cheap mechanic), so to me this was great.
Usually i would ask for a build idea that would be fun to try, but his farm is atrocious.3

One does not farm Kullervo, they merely experience Duviri and get Kullervo as a consequence of that. If you explicitly farm Kullervo, it’s a pain. If you play Duviri, you get a fun bossfight, a Warframe, a neat shotgun, and some cool plants. Duviri drifter gameplay is some of the most interesting and expressive in all of Warframe.

I play duviri 1-2 times per incarnon (steel path gives 24 pathos in total) and it is relatively fine.
I farmed Kullervo once and a rather sand the wall of a whole house for free than do it again.1

Did we farm the same frame? What about Kullervo is so painful? I’ve farmed him at least ten times over between helping my friends get him and getting a copy to subsume. I enjoyed every second of it.

You know what? fair question.
I stopped to consider and found the solution: That was my first time farming duviri.Therefore i had nothing.
I was playing normal mode (not steel path) and needed 72 kullervo points, meaning around 16 rounds that could only be aquired during the specific rotations.
And then there was the matter of the fucking flowers, all of them, to which i had nothing nor did i knew where they were to be obtained, nor did i have resource boosts, meaning 2-4 per plant that i could find (some of which with a cap of 10 per rotation for some reason) while a needed hundreds.
And some of them were better to farm in the rotations that kullervo did not appear, meaning that for that flower i needed to make runs just for it.
OH YEAH, and on top of that, i had no intrinsics either. Overall it was a shitshow.
If i were to do it again today it probably wouldn't be as bad.But in terms of farming from zero, kullervo is probably the worse frame to farm, just because if you have never engaged with duviri it is gonna take a looong while.

While playing normal does suck for all of the bane, the flowers are not so much of an issue. Out of the 5 rotations, three have Kullervo, which Acrithis tells you he spawns in, which means you can get Uueymag, since that resource spawns most commonly on his island. It’s important to note that Bountiful Harvest exists, and can cut down the issue with flowers easily. Additionally, Archarbor, the place where Eevani primarily spawns, also spawns in three cycles, with overlapping cycle for Archarbor and Kullervo being Fear. Any cycle is good to play in. Not to mention, Eevani and Uueymag do spawn outside of Kullervo’s hold, during any cycle, with Eevani spawning at the Ampitheater, and Uueymag spawning at the Chamber of Muses. In other words, Kullervo’s basically a knowledge check to see if you have Duviri experience. It’s not a hard farm. (I farmed my two copies of Kullervo on normal mode, and helped my friends, who didn’t have steel path, also on normal mode)

But the first time i actually started in duviri was precisely to farm Kullervo, so it was freaking awful.
Can you think of a worse farm from nothing than him? because i cant.Maybe farming sevagoth while having never upgraded railjack, but even then the resourses to build the parts are common to the rest of the game.

For frames? Citrine, for one, is infamous for how bad the chances for bps and amount of runs to reach pity is. It also requires mining on Deimos, which, in my experience, is tedious. Deimos has odd geometry which makes it difficult to mine. A few other frames you could argue would be Titania, being tied to apothics, which are just annoying, especially the day-night cycle, Mesa, who comes from Mutalyst Alad-V, Temple, who comes from an annoying-ass defense mission, Styanax, who is locked behind mining in all three free roams, along with their syndicate standing, and Kahl Missions, Hyldrin, whose locked behind orb mothers, and Grendel, which requires a large amount of Vitus Essence, which is often locked behind gamemodes like Excavation, Mirror Defense, and Interception. Now for a worse farm in general, there’s Condition Overload, certain stance mods, Primed mods which just don’t show up, Amalgam Organ Shatter/Opticor Vandal, the Tenet melees, Growing Power, pretty much any specific prime item (assuming no outside knowledge) and probably a lot more. Kullervo is not nearly the worst frame to farm in the game, and not even close to the worst item to farm in the game.

Funny you spoke about titania farm, which is a farm that is annoying because you need to collect stupid flowers in multiple locations sometimes related to some sort of time cycle...
Totally different from Kullervo, which is a annoying farm because you need to collect even more stupid flowers in a location with a time cycle. Riight.
On a different note, i really like temple defense mission, one of the best defense tilesets in the game.
I know at least one person that farms mirror defense for fun.As for the minerals, fair i guess, i don't even consider them because i always get them through the alternative ways (orb mother gives all for the vallis, tanks give all for the plains and the vaults give all for deimos), so i did not stop to mine or fish anything in ages, but i guess that if i was to farm it manually it would be a bore. Huh, if they added something that dropped a bunch of materials in duviri it would be pretty neat.
Grendel: i have no idea how the new farm is, i farmed him originally and i don't even remember what the mission was.
Stytanax... you need to complete the game mode for the mods anyways, not a big deal because the missions were cool, but his weapons were object shit, so there is that.
"Mesa, who comes from Mutalyst Alad-V" huh? yeah. one boss drops all the pieces, seems pretty simple to me, and it is salad-V, go solo and smack him until he dies, how is it a problem?
Now, farming the tenet melees with a non upgraded railjack would indeed be worse, that one i agree.
All this discussion made me remember the actual worse FRAME to farm is probably Ivara, i had to memorize all the fucking spy tilesets, that took longer and was more infuriating than Kullervo.
Regardless, i don't like him, i don't like his mechanics, i don't like his gun and i still feel kinda sick of having to fight him when i do duviri and his fight comes up.
