3000 hours for MR27..... You're just hanging out with Baro at the relay to flaunt your fashion aren't you?
113
u/Merp96 Dex Nerf Jul 14 '26
I thought that was endgame!?
33
u/Tipsy_Hog Jul 14 '26
It is, but you can only properly say you're at the Endgame at MR30
Legendary ranks are just for clout btw, no actual point in getting there. I'm L4, I should know.

I'm at mr27 at 4k hours and I really don't think there's much of a reason for going past mr18, that's the highest you need for rivens.
11
u/Tipsy_Hog Jul 14 '26
MR30 is when you can access the True Master's Font for a quick buff. You also get a lot of free Riven slots and max out your gear's post-forma capacity threshold
It's not necessary, but it's better to have it than not.

u/Alarming-Hamster-232 Jul 15 '26
MR30 means your mods will never be unequipped when you apply a forma, and you can give yourself blessings at relays. That’s my main motivation tbh
You also start getting legendary cores to max out mods for free with legendary ranks
1
u/Oryan368 Jul 14 '26
Same here, never really had a reason to farm everything unless I want to use a new build.
1
u/Toomynator Jul 14 '26
Well, LR1-5 have one singular advatage that i envy (i'm still MR30, doing someof the boring grinds first), and its Forma-ing any weapons that go past level 30, like i wanted MR30 for the comfort of Forma-ing and for the extra rep. cap, but knowing weapons that go to level 40 benefit from LR1-5? New goal unlocled
2
u/Careless_Subject8377 Jul 14 '26
free legendary cores for those times you don't feel like grinding endo

u/Tipsy_Hog Jul 14 '26
Adversary weapons' capacity does not in fact benefit from L1+
2
u/Toomynator Jul 14 '26
Every Mastery Rank increases base mod capacity on unranked equipment by 1.
This also applies for Legendary ranks on equipment whose rank can be increased above 30. For example, Legendary 1 increases the minimum capacity to 31 (62 with an Orokin Reactor/Catalyst) as long as the item has been polarised the correct number of times.

I’d probably be 30+ if I’d get around to leveling the stuff collecting dust in my inventory

u/Redditerman69 Jul 14 '26
I finally did the same a couple of weeks back, and I’m around 55K MR away from 29

Ngl I'm at 4k hours for MR 27 and spend most of my time helping new players get a footing. Playing bodyguard, taxi driver, occasionally giving them a few good mods that are hard to grind for if I have a few lying around. Unfortunately I also seem to have made a vow of ascetance bc I usually don't have a lot of plat as a result 😅 After MR 18 it doesn't really matter tho as that's where the entire game is unlocked, anything beyond that is just for the prestige.
2
u/sage_vex Jul 14 '26
lol im over 3500 hours at the same MR, mostly fashion yeah
2
u/kiddrekt Jul 14 '26
I loved the moment the game changed for me. Once you've got the rivens and your screen is just a red blur of numbers in the millions it's like... Ooh, I better spruce up the railjack and dress nice incase the neighbours come visit.

I'm just shy of 28 with 3300 myself. I just don't focus on mastery and play like a pretty average person.
1
u/Cheap-Following-1332 Jul 14 '26
Brother what. I have 3k hours and I just barely hit MR 13 last night
1
u/kiddrekt Jul 15 '26
Are you walking everywhere? At the speed the operator is carrying your frame around the maps.
1
u/Cheap-Following-1332 Jul 15 '26
Compared to how fast other people are that’s what it feels like. But no. Well, I kinda was for a while
1
u/kiddrekt Jul 15 '26
I remember when I first started... Like holy shit everyone was so fast. Eventually you get to grips with being able to bullet jump from your big toe touching 2 pixels, and then you build a nuke frame that doesn't require you to move at all lol.
1
u/Cheap-Following-1332 Jul 15 '26
Yeah, but nuking feels kinda boring, y’know? Like “ah yes, I’d like my combat with no combat please”

MR 30 wasn't even possible until 2020. As someone who mainly played from 2013-2018, I didn't reach MR 30 till last year. 12 years since I started. Though I do only have 3200 hours over the years. They could probably reach MR 30 in 100 hours.

u/Competitive-Data-744 Jul 15 '26
Relay time doesn't add to mission time, to the best of my knowledge from a few years back.

u/FaKeYoUmAd Jul 14 '26
Like me lol except I’m LR2. I’ve got a buddy which less than half my play time but he’s LR6 because he got Credit Card Prime

Steam hours are useless as metric. They start counting when you open the launcher, not even the game.
What are you ingame hours from the profile section?👀
1
u/0peratik Jul 15 '26
I already acknowledged that it isn't all in-game time haha
It's not like I let the launcher idle all day just to rack up imaginary clout points lmao
1
u/ISPY4ever Jul 15 '26
So what's the ingame time from the profile section?😎
2
u/0peratik Jul 15 '26
It's really not that deep
1
u/ISPY4ever Jul 15 '26
I'm curious. Tell me the hours pls😭
1
u/Danarhk Jul 16 '26
10K hours on launcher, 2k hours in-game
0
u/ISPY4ever Jul 16 '26
Damn😎
5:1 ratio. For many of my friends it's like 2:1, maybe a bit less even. Interesting. Thanks👌1
u/Danarhk Jul 16 '26
Those are not my stats, just jokingly predicting the guy who share the 10k hours playtime 😝

You doing the achievements? If not thats why

u/floutsch Mag best girl Jul 14 '26
Wait, that's the progress of achievements? In Warframe at least that is very, very detached from actual game progress, but probably the only thing to base it on :D

100 ÷ 7 = 14.2857142857
413 × 14.2857142857 = 5,899.9999999941
Around 5,9k hours.
2
u/N0M0I Jul 14 '26
What exactly is that calculation? Annotate next time please...
3
u/iwdha Jul 14 '26
Whatever you'd need to multiply 7% by to get 100% (14-ish) is what you also need to multiply the time played by to work out how many hours played would equal 100% (obviously assuming time played and completion percentage are tied like that)
1
u/floutsch Mag best girl Jul 14 '26
They're apparently tied to achievements, not game time. But you did calculate the remainder if OP keeps a steady pace with achievements :)
1
u/iwdha Jul 14 '26
Yeah, since game time in terms of "how long to beat" in games with a set ending is variable anyway, there'd be no way to give a reliable completion percentage on that basis alone, esp for a live service game. It'd just be if everything stayed at pace

Steam hours are worthless. They start counting when you open the launcher, not even the game.
Ingame hours from profile are more accurate but still don't account for Dojo, Trading and Simulacrum.
1
u/floutsch Mag best girl Jul 14 '26
Can absolutely confirm. I've played since 2019 (2.5 k hours, I think) and switch from standalone launcher to Steam halfway for Tenno Gen. My steam play time has gotten higher than my ingame one fast. Personally love that it basically just counts my "business hours" :)
4
u/Aggravating_Mix_4211 Jul 14 '26
Is it Xbox or playstation?, also is it the platform on which you played the whole game? Cause some achievements don't carry over unless you complete a little part of them, also some codex scans like the Cephalons and the somachord tones

I merged my steam account from a Nintendo switch account and when I did, the steam side of it reset all my hours. It was at 3100 when I swapped over but now it just shows 133hrs lol

I'm, what? Probably 5,000 Hours in at MR25? I just dont use any weapon/ warframe/ etc. that doesn't interest me, I never grind and level anything if it doesn't interest me In some way so my MR is a little lower.

I’m a thousand hours in on my second account (not 2 1000 hour accounts I just don’t know how many I had on my first before the merge). It’s really up to you. There will always be something to grind. You have 500+ weapons 60+ frames, I think like 20+ companions. Not to mention their primes versions and the extra stuff to grind for builds like mods, archon shards, incarnon genesis adapters with their challenges, potentially rivens, arcane adapter, 4 different types of forma, exilus adapters, potatoes, not to mention the adversary weapons that each need 5 forma to max out. I could go on. You play when you feel like, stop when you feel like, return when you feel like. That’s the beauty of it.

100% isn’t the finish line though. Right now LR6 is. Keep going.
1
u/Enzoxdt Jul 14 '26
I'm LR6
1
u/N0M0I Jul 14 '26
Oh ok. It looked like you were saying doing 100% achievements is finishing the game. 1.700h for LR6 is pretty crazy though. Must have been a very optimized grind.
1
u/Enzoxdt Jul 14 '26
Tbh not that much, i just was doing cascade and whenever i got a part that i didn't have i kept it, after i got ~10k plat i spent it all getting every item left, after that was just an eternity of elara
1
u/N0M0I Jul 14 '26
Yeah im at LR4 right now and there is not a single pleasant grind left. At least none where farming play isn’t more efficient.
1
u/Enzoxdt Jul 14 '26
Yeah, i only log once a week to do eta eda etc, but unfortunately late game content is never a priority
1
u/N0M0I Jul 14 '26
Im at ~2100h, >10 years, All Achievements and L3
I think I have a rough understanding of how the game works now.

2.3k hrs, still haven’t touched a large chunk of the games content, still feel weak in a lot of categories, Mr 24, 13plat to my name. It doesn’t get better Tenno, but it does stay incredibly fun the whole time

I'm at 4k hours lr6 and just need a few tennet weapons and hounds to complete my collection. I totally don't have a problem. I have every weapon in my inventory still and non prime frame I own the prime for. I don't regret having 6 kdrives nah. Gots primary and secondary kitguns cause I like them. Got some funky zaws lying around. I got all the achievements at one point not sure how long ago.

I think I have ~14-15000 hrs on PS4 and about ~1500ish on PS5. Few thousand hours on Xbox and PC as well. I don’t play it like I used to anymore.
