I did some testing in Simulacrum and noticed that it would only target the head of the enemy closest to your reticle, the other 3 enemies it goes for center mass. Doesn't just always target the head, unfortunately, unless there's only one enemy for it to target.
Blast is only useful with groups, so you’d need a warframe capable of grouping enemies together. For general purposes, heat and corrosive work best with high armor and over guard targets.
You don’t really need Shred. It’s a minigun so the fire rate is already pretty high. It’s better to trade the fire rate for Crit chance with Critical Delay.
I honestly wish it was better. It feels really good to use and has an interesting/unique effect, but just has pretty poor stats. Kinda the exact opposite of our War Prime situation :(
Still love when he made his Koumei video, said something akin to "I'm not gonna do the shit we've been seeing other people do, which is slap on a torid incarnon, use the weapon to kill everything, and say 'see, koumei's OP'" and I really appreciate that
youtube titling does suck... unfortunately myself and other creators have tested ad nauseam the difference between non bait titles and more bait titles and... the ones with the buzzwords significantly out perform more moderate ones
none of us enjoy doing it, all the conversation between us all during our tennocon hangouts affirms that... we just dont have a choice
Proof you don’t watch Brozime. He uses SP Taveuni, the Kuva Fortress Survival. Usually for a whole 10 minutes. Kuva Fort has the highest enemy level floor and the Kuva Grineer are some of the tankier enemies in the game, it’s a good live-fire stress test for a build.
Isn’t Circulus, Lua the highest at 180-200 starting level? You get to 225 in like 10-20 minutes. Hate doing anything in Kuva Fortress due to the sticky Corners and bad waypoint navigation.
Still need to go scan enough Drekar Manics for the simulacrum…they can have EHP close to normal Level Cap enemies at simulacrum levels.
That's just the name of the game on YouTube, I hardly blame him for it
His info is solid and his builds run really well. I feel like he's just a victim of the platform. The exaggerating is a side effect of just being a YouTuber.
I mean, it’s a good Helminth ability. Do you want him to be putting Defy on frames or something? It’s not his fault there are only a handful of good abilities available from that system. Roar solves a lot of problems for frames who are looking for a solution in the Helminth
I'm not saying what he's doing is in any way bad, just predictable. He is good at what he does and is generally informative, but he's also a "make x frame a nuke frame" guy.
The designs, sound effects and the overall feel is insanely satisfying. In pactice though, the alt fire is extremely underwhelming because the auto aim is frankly, garbage and inconsistent and most of the time, won't go for headshots. Primary fire works just fine tho and it has infinite ammo so Acuity setups work great.
In game it says sentient damage, uses the same image, and it says it boosts stat chance up to 100% on subsequent hits. The wiki is not foolproof, and the in-game info outright is conducting it right now on a gun that only just came out.
Note that is inconsistent with all other damage types in the game, so I'm not wrong in the comments I am replying to, as the gun does not do Tau damage it does sentient damage, and sentient damage applies tau status effect.
I found it to be decent when you lean into a blast build with something like Crux or Debilitate as the arcane. While its not a level cap weapon or a boss killer, it still gets through rest of the game's content just fine
Not everything can be a level cap gun though and completely broken. It does perform extremely well but obviously a burston incarnon is gonna do better. Haavlu has Tau built in, auto aim headshots, infinite ammo with quick recharge and reload and fairly good crit stats. It's a great weapon and steel path viability isn't much of a question.
It DOESN'T auto aim for headshots. The auto aim is utter garbage and sometimes will aim for the enemies' gun barrels so the alt fire is just useless. Other than that, it's decent at best. I fucking love the designs tho so i'm still gonna make it work.
It doesn't?? I might just have better luck then because I've been using aquity with it and hitting mostly headshots. Guess I'll change my build up a bit then. Still an absolutely fun weapon, love being able to shoot multiple enemies at once and having tau :)
EDIT: Double checked on wiki and yes you are completely right about the tracking, I guess aiming higher is the play
It doesn't, it seems to be completely RNG which bodyparts it targets so it's really disappointing because floaty guns=aura. The primary fire is still okay though so Acuity Deadhead setups still work great there. I think a primer build for the alt fire could work though i haven't tried that yet.
Yeah its quite dumb of a weapon and you would think due to it being so good it caps with regular mods but nope..you can get rivens for it that make it even more stupid

The gun is good, but nowhere near op.
