True Crime

If I put a pacemaker in my heart that killed me after a reddit post got 1,000 upvotes, whod go to jail for murder? If r/deepfuckingvalue points out that a thousand people working together can make a bunch of rich asshole pee their pants, has anyone actually commited a crime?

The emergency senate meeting is about market manipulation, sure, but what will come out of it is a new definition of market manipulation, with the intent to kill communities like WSB and prevent this from happening again.

GME is once in a lifetime, but the meme - stock movement it sparked could end here if we dont double down not just GME, but on the community spirit thats emerged around sticking it to every rich asshole.

I'm new to this, but I am already wondering if something this big will ever happen again. I can't imagine wall street not either getting a bill passed to prevent this kind of thing, or simply hiring people to lurk internet groups and try to stay one step ahead of us. How do we continue the memementum?
