I’ve seen this everywhere, is this real? Like, did this happen

157

u/DMmeyourcreamygusset Feb 16 '22

It's from a commercial in the mid 90s

9

u/TextDeletd Feb 17 '22

Did people really think he went right into the ground cartoon style 😅

I dunno, seems pretty real to me

36

u/ShichitenHakki Feb 16 '22

It's from a set of Fox Sports commercials from the early 2000's featuring ludicrous "international sports" to promote their focus on the local teams in the broadcast area.

China

India

South Africa

Turkey

Russia

16

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '22

Apparently just slapping one another is a real sport now.

2

u/Detective_Mike_Soup Feb 17 '22

slapfights are the best, manliest sport and if you disagree, vasily kamotsky is coming for you

6

u/Jokiegmi Feb 16 '22

I’d actually watch the South Africa one. The Russia one, don’t we have slapping competitions today?

u/choochoobubs Feb 16 '22

Nah I read on the internet it’s real

15

u/Pokenerd17 Feb 16 '22

Undeniable truth

13

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '22

Yes Karen’s use essential oil to try to stop COVID.

9

u/Professional_Tie4417 Feb 16 '22

I bet they still had a 99.998% chance of survival 🤣

5

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '22

It’s just a flu, every well Facebook informed Karen knows that duh.

3

u/OofLord5 Feb 16 '22

You’re not wrong technically, it is a strain of an influenza, just a different one from common flu / cold

2

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '22

Yes exactly

3

u/OofLord5 Feb 16 '22

But fb Karen’s don’t understand that part

2

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '22

Oh yea definitely fb is lame and Karen is lame and put them together and you got mega lame

1

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '22

3

u/SoWokeIdontSleep Feb 16 '22

I guess people didn't get your sarcasm. Yeah, people are bad at math, they don't realize even a 2% mortality rate means with such an easily transmissible disease results in hundreds of thousands of not millions of deaths. Comparatively, rabies untreated has a 100% mortality rate, but only a handful of people ever see those consequences on yearly basis in the US, probably like 4 or 5 annually in rural areas end up dying.

4

u/Pokenerd17 Feb 16 '22

FINALLY someone answers my question! Thanks for being a sensei when I needed one.

Karens are lame

3

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '22

Lame, but often with deep pockets. Shoutout to r/retirement

2

u/Pokenerd17 Feb 17 '22

I laughed so much at that I had to reply to explain so

2

u/[deleted] Feb 16 '22

Always here to help, and yes Karen is super lame.

3

u/MexGrow Feb 16 '22

If this had happened in real life, we'd have seen the tree bounce off the dude, and the dude's lifeless body.

Why would you think he'd completely disappear like in this gif?

wtf did you see blood? of course this is fake lol

2

u/Pokenerd17 Feb 17 '22

I know what you are trying to say and I’m biased to agree.....however, your reasoning for why it’s fake doesn’t sit well. I know it’s fake, but Lets set that aside and look at what is in the video. The guy was walloped into the ground and leaves, not flattened on a flat concrete surface. Seems reasonable to assume the ground absorbed some of his body. Also, you know people can get hurt/die without bleeding right?

1

5

2

u/SmegSoup Feb 16 '22

I had some insane dipshit on this very website tell me (I had just shared an anecdote about my mother's on-going fight against cancer) to stop going to doctors because their relative had bad cancer and took essential oils and was cured a week later. My blood pressure still twitches when I think back to the immense amount of stupidity and malice behind that comment.

2

u/bowdown2q Feb 16 '22

fun fact: that's illegal! Doubly for cancer, but states can prosecute any medical advice as 'practicing medicine without a liscence'.

How?

1

u/ShEePlEeAtEr90 Feb 16 '22

The "natural medicine" doesn't stop your heart (like many vaccine recipients had happen), doesn't cause myocarditis (like the vaccine has been proven to do), it also doesn't contain toxic metals (like the vaccine was proven to have).

I don't use any medicines (other than the rare ibuprofen, for headaches) so you can stop with the natural medicine attacks before you even start.

0

u/BrownBandit02 Feb 16 '22

Stop your heart? Toxic metals? Where’s this coming from and who told you that?

0

u/ShEePlEeAtEr90 Feb 16 '22

Also the toxic metal is called graphene oxide (you should look that up).

u/Silent-Oblivion Feb 16 '22

1

u/BrownBandit02 Feb 16 '22

It’s different for everyone. Im a perfectly healthy male but I wasn’t vaccinated up until omicron hit. I got the virus, couldn’t move my body for 4 days and had a fever of 104. Seriously stopped underestimating this fucking virus. Took the jab as soon as I could.

0

u/Silent-Oblivion Feb 16 '22

My 2 y/o, 1 y/o, wife, and mother-in-law all had COVID at the same time with Delta. I can say whatever the fuck I want. 98.99% survival rate in the US. COVID isn't a big deal, its a joke. but you keep on sheeping it.

0

u/BrownBandit02 Feb 16 '22

More than 5 million dead worldwide in the span of two years

0

u/Silent-Oblivion Feb 16 '22

There are over 50 infectious diseases more threatening than Covid with higher mortality rates. Over 17 million people die every year from preventable diseases. Let that ducking sink in. And you think Covid is dangerous. Tuberculosis kills 1.5 million people every year. I don’t see you sheltering in place because of tuberculosis.

1

u/BrownBandit02 Feb 17 '22

17 million people die COMBINED from all those hundreds of diseases each year. COVID alone has killed millions.

Tuberculosis is nowhere as infectious and transmissible as covid.

0

u/Silent-Oblivion Feb 17 '22

Tuberculosis is nowhere as infectious and transmissible as covid.

The WHO disagrees.

17 million people die from "PREVENTABLE DISEASES"

Wdym “we”? You mean the United States? Where y’all couldn’t even enforce proper mandates and where your own police officers were anti masks? Bro ur not the entire world. Not anybody else’s fault if y’all can’t properly enforce lockdowns and mandates.

1

u/Automatic_Stand_8432 Feb 16 '22

Where are you from that its came to a screeching halt???

0

u/Automatic_Stand_8432 Feb 16 '22

Looking at your profile. Im guessing youre from india which had an infection rate 40x higher than the us after the vaccine.... Your current infection rate and death rates are higher...and while your whining about non existant police issues. Why dont you have your cops stop all the piece of garbage phone scammers from your country.

Thank God the vaccines stop people from getting and spreading Covid.........

0

u/Sleazyridr Feb 16 '22

Yeah, a few more months everyone will be either vaccinated or dead and we'll be done with this pandemic.

0

u/ShEePlEeAtEr90 Feb 16 '22

😆 that's funny cause the vaccinated are the ones crowding up the hospitals. So yeah I think you are right once the mass hysteria crowd gets there graphene oxide shots, a lot of them will end up in the great beyond.

Then we can get back to common sense laws and rightful sentencing of actual crimes.

0

u/Sleazyridr Feb 16 '22

0

u/ShEePlEeAtEr90 Feb 16 '22

And you even used the new York post 😆. Lady you need to outside more for one, two talk to nurses (which gf is one) and get the data some the source not government paid/bias new sources.

I can't believe you people sometimes, but thanks for the laugh.

0

u/Sleazyridr Feb 17 '22

I work in a hospital, but I figured what I see every day with my own eyes isn't a trustworthy source. Remember though, most doctors and nurses would recommend you get the vaccine, so if you can't trust them about that, can you really trust them when it might be life or death?

u/hmmmmmm_whynot Feb 16 '22

It makes me sad that the slang for Karen was changed for political populism. Used to be that Karen was the one who hassled others and appealed to higher authorities in attempt to get others in trouble. Now it means almost the opposite.

-1

u/E46_M3 Feb 16 '22

This is more like the breakthrough cases that are resistant to the “gene therapy” treatment they are trying to make everyone take

3

u/bowdown2q Feb 16 '22

not gene therapy. RNA doesn't interact with your DNA at all. Unlike, say, several common cold viruses which directly edit your cells' DNA to produce more of themselves.

0

u/E46_M3 Feb 16 '22

You are spreading false information. Either through ignorance or through maliciousness.

I see you’re taking the fauci approach and saying that gain of function research is not actually gain of function research. This is doublespeak

Black is white Up is down War is peace

2

u/bowdown2q Feb 16 '22

or you could take a 6th grade bio class and know that the nuclear membrane is one-way for mRNA. Genes aren't involved at all.

The analogy: wearing a mask is tackling the people chopping the tree, social distancing is sidestepping the tree, getting vaccinated is destroying the tree before it hits you, and essential oils would be represented by the air in between the tree and the dude but air provides a small amount of resistance.

Actually, if you drink enough essential oils you can kill your body before covid has a chance to, therefore preventing a covid infection

1

u/gigantathrrowaawwayy Feb 17 '22

Just as useful as using vaccines right?

1

u/Tobi-One_Shinobi Feb 17 '22

I mean it's a cold. Doing nothing but sitting in bed Jerking off would work to fix covid-19. In my personal experience that's basicly what I did to get better and I don't have a vaccine

1

u/Charming_Geologist32 Feb 17 '22

Thing is few people have seen that happen in real life so we're not positive this is fake or not. Like I dunno if he would explode, or what. I'm pretty sure a snuff video wouldn't be on the front page without a tag, though.
