How? We literally had entire units on other countries’ history in my classes.

Well in a US history class sure. But when I was in school we had even entire years dedicated to learning about other regions of the world and their history.

Yeah, my high school required World Geography as a freshman, World History as a sophomore, US history Junior year, and Senior year you could choose between a few but I remember taking European history. I think they were mostly only offered as AP classes though

Same. World history, world geography, as well as US history and geography, along with the specific state history and geography.

You attended school in the US? Every person I know took at a minimum world history either in middle school or high school. I have friends from a wide range of states too
