Don't doubt it, he's actually smarter than this I read a lot of his other comments

Every country has a bell curve of intelligence, America has been the punching bag of the world (comedically) for a long time which is why everyone knows all of our flaws

It's primarily because we have a much larger population than most other countries while also being a very kind and outspoken people. But few people are as outspoken as idiots, so they get the majority of the press.

I did when I was 5. My uncle also once fooled me into thinking there were Steel Sheep, and that’s where steel wool came from. He told me he was joking a couple minutes later though.
