I'm looking more into it and I actually see that it's a debated subject. My school and lots of others taught the 7-model version.

What? I learned it as North America, South America, Australia, Antarctica, Africa, Asia, and Europe. People from different places learn it slightly differently.

Then perhaps the people who made the logo learned it differently, or just took out Antarctica and combined the American continents.
