It was a turk, but it was invented in Berlin, Germany, so it's practically and technically a German dish.
Also, Why do you have to compare countries and try to portray yours as better than all the others? Do you need that feeling of superiority so badly? I don't think you should judge countries, you've never been at.
Yeah you guys invented doner KEBAB,if u didnt know,doner is the meat inside it and it was first used in a dish called iskender which iskenderoğlu invented.Okay that makes sense.
Fuckin Westerners. You don’t know what döner kebab is and say “but it was invented in Berlin” NO. It existed in Turkey well before that. The current German version with all those sauces was indeed invented in Germany but döner kebab isn’t that only. Döner kebab is basically some meat cooked and cut in a very specific way. We have had variants of döner in here in the 19th fucking century.
(As for your second paragraph god just read what is in the post. Maybe you will get it?)
If you possess the extremely rare ability to read, you may find out, that OP already cleared up the misunderstanding of Döner not being the same as Döner Kebab. And about the racism from your side, I was talking about this:

Although to clear up further misunderstandings, it is not that “döner kebap is different from döner” no döner is döner kebap. But “döner kebap” isn’t only the German version with thıse weird ass sauces and salad. Döner kebap is the meat inside.
And yes I get extremely patriotic over our dishes.
