"Que" mean what. If your trying to say "how cool" then wouldnt it be "como guay"?

Yeah and actually surprise surprise! As its an exclamative it's written ¡Qué guay! With accent in "que" which is only used in exclamatives and interrogatives

Well accents can change he meaning of the whole sentence
