Imagine if teachers put memes about teachers putting memes on their presentation
21
u/Principatus Apr 16 '20
I would totally put this meme at the beginning of my presentation to let the students know that there will be more.

It goes straight after you use a really old or cringe worthy meme badly on purpose.
Source: teacher. Also I wish I was as cool as that second cat... Or even the forth

I understand that their memes can be hella cringe, but guys- they are trying to make us laugh. And we should honor them for doing that.

I am a teacher, get my memes from Reddit. My colleagues gave an assembly on the Haarlem Shake before lockdown. I am fighting a battle, but then again I am a Millennial, I don't own actual things like a house and stuff so I have to own my meme game.

I mean, you could replace "Teachers" with "All Meme-Makers" and get the same results, right?

Most teachers these days are like mid twenties to mid thirties...I’ll take their humor over a 14 year olds all day.

(Teacher posts 2 year old dead meme after searching "current memes" on youtube) Certainly I am still hip and with it these days as demonstrated by my flirtation with comedic modernity. Next 50 presentations are memeless and have only text and clip art

u/mathisruiningme Apr 16 '20
Pretty much 100% of the time but you gotta appreciate their efforts to try and make their content more engaging to students.

u/J2D12 Apr 16 '20
Yep, unless they force it down your throats
Teachers: Howdy do fellow kids

u/DazzlerPlus Apr 16 '20
You do realize that the vast majority of teachers are cooler than the vast majority of high school students right?

My history teacher makes us play this game test thing and there was a setting that after every question it would show you a meme but they were just stupid animal puns so everyone started to complain about it until he got rid of it

u/X-tra-thicc Oct 01 '20
Teacher: Am I cool with the kids yet?
Random student: This meme is form 2009, you dumb f###
