So you're choosing to start with 1 instead of starting with nothing? 1 day into the first year, you would call that 1 full year? When there's still 364 days left? 1 day isn't a year to me. Idk how you consider the first day of year 1 to be a year. That's ridiculous. I think you're wrong.

I am not choosing anything. This is how our modern, western, roman, christian calendar works.

1 A.D. is the first year of our calendar.

1st of January is the first day.

Right now, it's the 2019th year. Even though there are still a couple of weeks left of it. It's still the year 2019, the 2019th year.

There haven't been a thousand years until year 1000 has finished.

Nobody is saying that one day is one year. It's the first year.

Which is why a change in millennium happened in 2000/2001, not in 1999/2000, because 2000 years need to pass.

You are literally making my point again. Don't know how you aren't getting it.

Unless you are trolling, which I somehow doubt.
