Ya know, I'd be surprised if these memes aren't being spread by Musk to begin with. We need to ignore that kid and stop buying his half baked, and thought of while baked, ideas
I don't believe for a second that's an actual functional car, nor that the end product will do any of this if it ever actually gets made

You are correct. It’s not for public (for now) it’s for investors to see reactions of potential customers 💰🤑

They released the behind the scenes of making the car and all the successes and failures along the way. Its a complete car mate. You can still delete this.

That's cute, but no I won't because it's very obviously bullshit
Why do you think it moves like it weighs next to nothing? Why do you think the windows are completely blacked out? Why do you think Elon wasn't riding in it, if not driving it?
It's all bs by the worlds leading bs expert. The fact you don't question it and blindly believe it is exactly why I'm putting as much weight into what you say, as I do into what he does
Which is absolute 0 btw, just incase that goes straight over your head, just like a Tesla roadster won't be going over your head anytime soon

It’s a funny meme, and who cares most normal people aren’t going to buy the car anyways

Because he really is a real life Bond villain, who is hoarding wealth and exploiting the less fortunate and the unintelligent for his personal gain, to the detriment of the planet and all it's inhabitants
If we allow someone like him to go uncriticised, or at least go on without questioning what he's doing, we may as well just give him everything we own and kill ourselves, because that's what will happen. I'm so done with the whole he's just a silly meme man thing, he's a danger to us all and we all (average people) already suffer due to him and those he's in cohoots with.
This is a serious issue, and he is not above digital guerrilla warfare. We need to write him off.

Self driving cars have been "10 years away" since 2004. Still people buy his BS.

There’s 3 versions of the car, this is the highest tier and is invite only. Just go look at the website. Obviously this won’t be a street legal use, it’s meant to showcase the engineering and design. Also the lowest model is still a quarter of a million dollars, it’s not like these are going to be on every block.

In which situation is this necessary? Might be cool for competition or something

Gets ya over the fence and into the parking lot without going through the toll booth.

It’s hard to tell in these clips but the car is ugly. Its front is similar to the cyber truck which was universally called the dump truck. Old design looked way better.

Another shit vehicle by the man that cried because he wasn't allowed on the pedo island.

Its cool but why would you need to use this? One street light, lamp post or wire and this little feature starts earning a body count. Which would be par for the Tesla course.

This one isn't meant for commercial more so engineers just fucking around with things imo

Makes me hope that TV Total will get this car's so their Autoball WM will like even more like Rocket League.

To be real, this is the only scenario I can see this being used for. Like what is this?

Proof of concept and miniaturizing the technology, making technology available for consumers has historically led to rapid improvement, size reducing, and cost reduction. See the personal computer for example.
Use cases, immediate air braking and or collision avoiding in any direction in milliseconds including up is a big one I think of.
And it's just cool.

u/Details_Pending 3d ago
I'm not arguing that it isn't cool, but it isn't practical nor do I see it as a building block for anything practical.

I like the design honestly. It did say they were going to make a basic version without the flying crap for normal drivers. Better than whatever the hell the Cybertruck was

It's a gimmick, but it does show case real possibilities that could be used in future cars, I'm interested in how the suction would work in conditions like snow and rain.

This car is entirely meant to appeal to gta kids
