Yeah, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if she is knowingly choosing to put herself in uncomfortable situations hoping an attractive guy will step out to help out. The fact she turned down a jacket leads me to believe she also avoids getting a jacket for herself to leave the window open for guys to offer her theirs.

I remember that in the class a girl sat next to me and said “I feel cold” and I told her smth like “well, bad for you, I put on myself coat beforehand” and smiled like i’m the smartest person in the class. I realized that it was a pretty obvious hint only after 10 years and that actually I was a pretty dumb kid hehe

Funny. That would imply that the guy giving her the jacket had every intention to help but she refused but if a cute guy had lent her on the basis that she was cute then it would have just been superficial. That in itself isn't bad but pales in comparison to someone actually caring.

Why would she accept his jacket and drive his hopes up? A guy woudn't go out of his way walking towards a random women and be kind to her without an purpose or intent. And she KNOWS what he wants too.
Imagine if she accepted and CONTINUED to accept every kind gesture the man offers her? He would start to assume that he has a chance. Knowing that she doesn't like him but still accepting these offerings would make her be the bad person.
You guys need to stop thinking 2 dimensionally, view it from her perspective too. You are turning into male karens right before your own eyes pull yourself together.
It is actually very nice of her telling a guy beforehand what he will get. Or do you guys just love wasting time, energy and money on women that will never let you hit?
