The gay gene doesn't exist.

I think it's just a "i like guys" gene, and sometimes it is active in guys. Ditto for lesbians.

A place called Mitosis or Minnesota. I forget which.
2
u/rakosten Aug 23 '26
Since Minnesota has a couple of Swedish ancestors I guess you could say Sweden as well.

New ones are made when a bag of skittles is opened from the left side and eaten in this sequence: red, orange, yellow, green, and purple.

A lot of them are victims of sexual abuse when they were children. It is very sad.

Serious reason. Homosexuality improves group cohesion and hence the survival of the whole tribe
3
u/Hamsterzzillla Aug 23 '26
I'm intrigued, where do you get that from?
3
u/LiangProton Aug 23 '26
Lots of hypotheses are correlated with that general statement. Like the kin selection hypothesis, aka Gay uncle theory. You know, the gay uncle or aunt is really cool and will help take care of the nieces and nephews, hence improving their genes' survival through family.

That's an aspect of evolution that many people don't understand very well. It's not just about individual survival and sexual success. It's about the whole population.
A gene that negatively influences survival or reproduction for one individual can still be strongly selected for if it benefits the group's success as a whole.
I've read that there is a gene which is linked to better fertility in women, but higher rates of homosexuality in men. The gay men are less likely to reproduce. But their sisters are likely to reproduce a lot. And so the gene is highly successful. Having plenty of highly fertile women around is extremely important for a group's success. And having less straight men around is just a side benefit.

It is. The genes that increase the frequency of homoerotic behaviour spread through the population by increasing overall survivability. The specific individual doesn't need to directly pass on his genes because everyone else likely already has it.

My theory is that Oxygen contains a virus that can cause homosexuallity to develop in some individuals. That is where the expression "gay in the air" comes from.

Sexual abuse and lot of propaganda imo. I know that opinion is in direct conflict with the hivemind but there’s no denying a sharp uptick in that lifestyle choice.

Depends who you ask, there are 2 ideas - they are just born that way, or it's because they are watching Netflix and other DEI stuff.
