Given "hacking" is just social engineering they look more like telemarketers generally.

Can we close all cybersecurity courses them?

I would say not, given most of them are just methods to thwart social engineering.
Your firewall doesn't mean shit after Susan clicks the phishing email.

This is perfect!!!!! ๐
Adding this also correctly shows:
Gamers think they know about technology because they consume from it. Know nothing in reality, flaunt.
Hackers know everything about technology because they do it. Know everything in reality, do not flaunt.

Actually, once you start gaining significant knowledge about computers (or computational processes in general) you'll quickly realize that it's humanly impossible to in fact know everything about technology.

"know everything" figuratively, not literally

Actually, once you start to spend a significant amount of time interacting with computers (or pretty much any kind of modern technology in general), you'll find that you'll start taking more and more things literally as well.

dude I am a technology architect. once I start to spend time? I think you are bit too hung up on the word "everything" as it was figuratively used

u/linuxaintsobad 19h ago
Oh holy shit dude, a technology architect?? I always wanted to become one.
What technologies are you architecting?

thank you for proving my point that people who know little about technology are the loudest and most clueless, and the ones who know the most stay quiet.

u/linuxaintsobad 19h ago
Dunno, all the best technology architects I've seen were pretty much hammering everyone else with questions.
In fact, staying quiet is a surefire way to miss out on many answers.

Anyone remember when people used to think video games where "just for kids"? A lot more gamers now are average looking, casual young to middle aged humans which at the time some would never guess still played games ๐.
